Who can attend?
The Summer Party is open to all University of Nottingham Students. All attendees should have an NUS card to verify they are students. Students from other Universities including Nottingham Trent are welcome.
Non-students can attend provided they are accompanied by a Nottingham University student with valid NUS card and they have ID proving they are over 18.
How many tickets can I purchase?
Tickets are limited to a maximum of 10 per person. This is to ensure that everyone gets an opportunity to attend.
Can I bring a guest who’s already graduated, a non-student or is studying at another Uni?
Yes, the event is open to guests of Nottingham University students. Non-NUS must be accompanied by University of Nottingham students with valid NUS cards.
Do I need a physical ticket?
Yes. If you buy online you will need to print off your E-ticket and bring this with you to the event. If you buy from the SU box office or from a Summer Party rep you will be given a physical ticket.
I’ve bought a ticket, but decided I don’t want to go. Can I get a refund?
No. As with all S.U. events, tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE, unless in exceptional circumstances decided by the Events team. In the event of the Summer Party completely selling out, we will create a waiting-list for people wanting tickets and then offer refunds to those wanting to sell theirs on, provided there is someone waiting to buy it.
Is there a dress code?
No, there’s no dress code, casual and comfy is all you need!
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Afraid not – we have a special outdoor license for this event which prohibits customers from bringing their own drink on-site. We will be searching bags on arrival and confiscate anything found, so please don’t try to sneak any in! There isn’t a shortage of food and drink onsite and all outlets will be open all day.
Are the fairground rides and inflatable attractions free to use?
Yes – all attractions are included in the ticket price. Please note however that in the interests of safety we reserve the right to refuse admission to any of these if you’ve had too much to drink.
Does my ticket get me into the official After Party?
Unfortunately not, tickets for the After Party will go on sale soon. Please look out for details.
